In 40k, they say "Go big, or get burned at the stake as a heretic." Found this statue of St. Francis in the clearance section of a decor store, and decided to put it to use as a terrain piece. Started off by increasing the height of the base with some three layers of 1/2" wood to weigh it down some closer to the tabletop. Then a couple of cake topping 3" columns to make it more gothic. Now to arrange some walls, barriers, debris piles to give any figures taking refuge some cover....
