Originally started from a primed black, then applied a pale blue / near gray. Washed with Nulin Oil, then progressive layers of watered down Apple Barrel colors (2 to 4 parts water to paint) Apricot, Jack-o-latern, Pumpkin orange, and then a dry brushing of Harvest orange around the outer edges of each panel and rib.
