Reposting these again since there has been some talk of doing another city scale project like this again. Originally this was to be the "prototype" for a series of building city blocks that could be rearranged in numerous ways, but each building would a character in its own right.

For future reference, since I do get asked from time to time on quoting terrain commissions like this: it is easily $150+ a pop for something like this mainly due to the cost of the kit, and labor involved.
A more Asian themed piece to go with my space marines...

A battery operated tea light was used for the flame effect.
More random urban fun...

A few experiments with some available billboard kits, and playing around with my color printer...

A couple of plasicraft gates, done as a quickie set....

A somewhat "happy accident," of sorts...

The last few of the large terrain piece project. The first two are halves of the same piece, in theory it was supposed to be a junkyard of sorts using a couple of different terrain kits, but became a compromise as the scope of the project was changed several times. In the end, it was done to be done.

The next piece is a combination Necromunda/40K set, also part of the larger city layout that was begun earlier. Everything was done to make it unique from the usual way this kit is normally assembly.
